Fei Jia is a Technical Solutions Manager at Heliospectra AB since November 2017, with a robust background in agricultural and biosystems engineering. Fei Jia completed a Ph.D. at the University of Arizona in 2015, after which a postdoctoral research associate role involved developing methodologies for early detection of sub-optimal microalgal growth using Artificial Neural Networks and overseeing indoor farm production control. Prior research positions included the invention and patenting of an optical device for real-time monitoring of microalgal growth and the development of methods for lipid content analysis in microalgae. Internships at Heliae and Pinal Energy, LLC focused on sensor design and pipeline planning, respectively, contributing to experience in engineering and development within the biosystems sector.
