Simone Akkerman is an experienced reintegration coordinator and physiotherapist with a professional background spanning over 25 years. Since August 2008, Simone has been employed at Heliomare, focusing on reintegration support and physiotherapy. Prior to this role, Simone worked as a physiotherapist at Back in Shape BV/DBC Badhoevedorp from September 1997 to July 2008, and at High Five Health Promotions from 1995 to 1997. Education was completed at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences between 1991 and 1995.
