John Franks has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. John started their career at Avery Dennison in 1996 as a Sr. Program Manager and worked there until 2006. John then moved to Jarden Consumer Solutions as an Engineering Manager from 2006 to 2007. Following that, they joined TM Electronics, Inc. as a Director of Engineering, where they played a pivotal role in maintaining profitability in challenging economic conditions. In 2010, John joined Helen of Troy, where they quickly climbed the ranks, starting as a Sr. Program Manager and eventually becoming the Vice President Engineering & Program Management, Health and Home. Throughout their tenure at Helen of Troy, they demonstrated strong financial and team leadership skills, and notably implemented a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system to improve time to market and overall quality.
John Franks attended Northeastern University from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
