Louise van den Heuvel is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in product development, particularly in the medical device industry. Since July 2016, Louise has served as a Senior Project Engineer at Helbling USA, actively participating in all phases of the product development process and providing technical design input as a part of an interdisciplinary team. Previous roles include Graduate Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where research focused on multi-material inkjet 3D printing, and various engineering internships where designs and improvements for medical devices were made. Louise holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, Louise has experience in education, having served as a tutor in a Mechanical Engineering summer program, and in writing, with approximately 500 published articles on diverse topics.
