Sorana Maria Secasiu is an experienced Regional Grants Manager for HEKS/EPER, overseeing regional grants for Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, and Hungary since September 2022. Prior roles include Head of Programs at Graines de Paix, where collaborative projects with UNICEF and UNESCO were designed and implemented, as well as managing initiatives addressing gender-based violence in West Africa. Additional experiences encompass education advising for adult migrants at Croix-Rouge fribourgeoise, consultancy on children's rights with SUKA Society, communication strategy development at Bakhtar Development Network Global, and previous roles in content writing and intercultural interpretation. Sorana holds a Master's degree in French as a Foreign Language and additional qualifications in social anthropology, security studies, and psychology.
