Malia Ramler has extensive experience in program management and capacity building in the education and health sectors. Currently serving as a Program Officer for Education at the Heising-Simons Foundation since November 2018, Malia previously held significant roles at First 5 Alameda County, including Senior Administrator for Community and Provider Capacity Building, where efforts focused on enhancing systems and services to support young children's development. Malia also managed a community grantmaking program with significant funding allocations. Additionally, Malia was a Project Director at the Center for Health Training, overseeing curriculum training and development projects for various governmental and health organizations. Malia holds a Master of Social Work and a Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley.
