Phil Burgess has extensive experience in finance, currently serving as Finance Director and Head of Finance & Company Secretary at Heimbach Group since January 2004, overseeing the finance function for two SME manufacturing companies and acting as Chairman of Trustees for a DB pension scheme. Prior to this role, Phil worked as a Management Accountant at Tetrosyl Group Limited, where responsibilities included the group consolidated management accounts reporting and standard cost system. Additional experience includes positions as Assistant Accountant at CH Johnson Limited, Accounts Assistant at HCCT Holidays Ltd., and Purchase Ledger Supervisor at GEC Express Lift Company. Phil's educational background includes attendance at Kingsthorpe Upper School from 1984 to 1987.
