Sonja Geruschke has been serving as Data Protection Legal Counsel at Heidelberg Materials since March 2000, with a focus on data protection law, including GDPR and the German Data Protection Act since April 2017. Prior experience includes M&A and general legal matters in Central Europe, Central Asia, and Germany. Sonja's expertise encompasses IT law, social media, transfer pricing, and intra-group reorganizations, along with responsibilities in Quality Management Group Legal and external counsel management. Prior to Heidelberg Materials, Sonja worked as a temporary worker at Adecco from September 1999 to March 2000. Sonja's education includes a 2nd State Exam in Law from OLG Düsseldorf and a 1st State Exam in Law from the University of Bonn.
