Keanan Jones has a wealth of experience in the web development and design field, beginning in 2007 when they worked as a Project Manager for LEK Construction. In 2008, they began working as a Freelance Web Developer, building corporate and private websites. Keanan then worked at Derivco as a Full-Stack Developer from 2008 to 2015, before joining Open Box Software as a Full-Stack Developer (Analyst Developer) from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, they joined Independent Newspapers as a Senior Frontend Developer and then moved to Ekaya in 2017, where they also held the role of Senior Frontend Developer. In 2018, they became self-employed and worked as a Senior Web Developer, before joining Heetch in 2019 as a Senior Frontend Developer.

Keanan Jones has a diverse educational background. Keanan obtained a Certificate in Computer Programming from Oxford College in 1995. Keanan then went on to complete a Certificate in Graphic Design & Desktop Publishing from Lambeth College in 1996-1997. In 1999-2002, they earned a Bachelor of Science with full Honours in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Westminster. In 2004-2005, they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Games Programming from the University of Hull. In addition to these qualifications, they have also obtained certifications in Microsoft ASP.NET MVC 4 Web Applications from Microsoft South Africa in 2014, Ethology Dog Behaviour & Training Certificate from Ethology Academy South Africa in 2013, Introduction to Marine Ecology from DURBAN AQUARIUM in 2012, and Postgraduate Certificate, Games Programming from the University of Hull in 2004.
