Emmeline Ruijs - van der Meij has had a diverse range of work experiences, primarily in recruitment and human resources. Their most recent role was as a Recruitment Lead at Heerema Marine Contractors. Before that, they worked as a Senior Corporate Recruiter at the same company. Prior to Heerema Marine Contractors, Emmeline worked at Bain & Company as a Recruitment Manager for EMEA, and as a Senior Manager, Nordic Recruiting. Emmeline also held roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, International Care Ministries, Morgan Stanley, ABN AMRO Bank N.V., and Brunel Insurance & Banking.

Emmeline Ruijs - van der Meij completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration - International Hospitality Management at Stenden from 2000 to 2004. Emmeline then pursued a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Griffith University, which they obtained in 2006.
