Ali Katamjani has a wealth of experience in product and program management. In 2008, they began their career as a Project Engineer at Larghezel Co., where they were responsible for participating in the project planning phase, project monitoring using Primavera P6, and generating reports about the implementation status for the management. In 2010, Ali became a Quality Engineering Intern at Aghdasie Cement Factory. In 2012, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a Graduate Research Assistant at Wichita State University. In 2014, Ali was a Technical Project Manager Intern at LinkedIn. From 2015 to 2019, they held several roles at LinkedIn, including Staff Technical Program Manager, Senior Technical Program Manager, and Technical Program Manager. From 2019 to 2021, they were the Engineering Portfolio Manager, Strategy & Planning at Slack. Currently, Ali is the Director, Product & Program Management at Hedera, a position they have held since 2022.

Ali Katamjani obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (Systems Analysis and Planning) from Azad University between 2005 and 2011. In 2012 and 2014, they completed a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering (Systems Engineering) from Wichita State University. In 2018, they completed a UC Berkeley Executive Education program in Product Management from the Haas School of Business. Ali also holds four certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance obtained in July 2015, Professional Scrum Master (PSM) from Scrum.org obtained in November 2014, Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) from ASQ obtained in December 2013, and Project Management System with P6 from Industrial Management Organization obtained in August 2011.
