Matty Blomfield is an accomplished professional in the technology and marketing sectors, currently serving as CEO of Hectre since November 2015, where the focus is on providing orchard management technology to enhance profitability for fruit growers globally. Matty co-founded and served as Director of Mindfull NZ from December 2015 to September 2016, a data analytics and technology firm aimed at making sense of a rapidly changing world. Prior experience includes serving as Director at Dyer & Blomfield, where Matty championed modern marketing approaches, and co-founding Hacktivate, a competitive coding event. Matty also had roles in international trade with JETRO, connection facilitation at Kea New Zealand, and leadership at Biztalk Toastmasters. Academically, Matty holds a BA/BCom in Marketing, International Trade, and Japanese from The University of Auckland and completed specialized studies at Tokyo Gakugei University.
