Matthew Bertler has extensive experience in business development and mergers and acquisitions, currently serving as Director, Business Development and M&A at Hecate Energy LLC since June 2021. Matthew's career trajectory at Hecate Energy includes roles such as Senior Manager, Manager, and Associate in Finance and M&A. Prior to Hecate Energy, Matthew worked at Invenergy LLC from May 2018 to June 2021, occupying various positions in acquisitions, divestitures, and development. Matthew began a career in renewable energy at NASA Ames Research Center, taking on roles as Renewable Engineer and Intern. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Philosophy, along with a minor in Engineering of Energy Sustainability from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and also studied at the Iceland School of Energy.
