Nimrod Harel currently serves as a Research Intern in the Multimodal AI Group at IBM since August 2024. Previous experience includes roles as a Deep Learning Researcher at Samsung Israel R&D Center and a Computer Vision Researcher at BeyondMinds, focusing on machine learning and deep learning models for computer vision tasks. Nimrod is also a volunteer Head of the "Kfir" scout troop within the Hebrew Scouts Movement in Israel, leading educational initiatives for at-risk youth. Prior positions encompass Research Project Manager at Podicko Industrial Technologies, Business Development Lead at Zigdon Enterprises, and Owner of Winc, a video-based search engine. Military service includes serving as a Special Ops Administrator in the Israeli Air Force from 2012 to 2016. Nimrod's academic pursuits involve a PhD in Explainable AI and a Master's in Computer Science at Tel Aviv University, along with participation in the Adi Lautman Interdisciplinary Program for Outstanding Students.
