Mark K Smith is a versatile professional with extensive experience in education and photography. Currently serving as a College Planning Coach at the Heartland Institute of Financial Education since August 2016 and as a Professional Photographer and Owner of PhotoSmith Colorado since January 2017, Mark specializes in headshot, portrait, and travel photography. Mark's academic career includes roles as an Adjunct Faculty member at Community College of Colorado Online from September 2011 to December 2023 and at Community College of Aurora from January 1989 to June 2014, alongside a position as an Academic Advisor at Metropolitan State University of Denver from June 2014 to December 2016. Prior experience includes positions at Pentax Imaging Company and as an instructor and custom darkroom printer at Robert Waxman. Mark holds a Master's degree in Humanities related to photography from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
