Cristina Briskie-Wood has a diverse work experience spanning various positions and industries. Cristina currently holds the position of Chief Development Officer at Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA) since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at HOLA in various roles including Grants Manager and Development Officer from 2016 to 2019, Grants Management Coordinator from 2014 to 2016, and Development Associate and Grant Writer from 2012 to 2014. Before their time at HOLA, Cristina was a Development Associate at The Time In Children's Art Initiative in 2011. Cristina also gained experience as an Associate at The Museum of Modern Art Design Store from 2009 to 2010 and as a Consultant at Iowa Artisans Gallery from 2007 to 2009. Cristina started their career as a Research Associate in the Anthropology Department and Faulconer Gallery at Grinnell College in 2004.
Cristina Briskie-Wood holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Anthropology and Gender Studies from Brandeis University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology from Grinnell College. Additionally, Cristina has obtained the Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional certification from FMA in April 2019.
