Daniel Mason is a Principal Scientist (Cheminformatics) and Combinations Team Lead at Healx, with extensive experience in drug discovery technologies and innovative treatment strategies for unmet medical needs. Daniel has led the Drug Combinations Team and played a vital role in developing proprietary drug combination technologies, notably assisting in the discovery of a novel treatment for Fragile X syndrome, which is currently in clinical trials. Before joining Healx, Daniel held research positions at the University of Cambridge, Unilever, IDBS, and the University of Southampton, focusing on computational modeling, cheminformatics, and software testing. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Multiscale Modelling of Cellular Calcium Signalling from the University of Southampton and a Master's degree in Computer-Aided Chemistry from the University of Surrey.
