Eniola Ayo-Gbenjo is an Elsie Hillman Honors Scholar at Healthy Start, Inc. and an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation DIVERSE Collective at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where involvement includes conducting literature reviews on health equity interventions for marginalized children. Additionally, Eniola serves as an Emergency Department Volunteer at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, providing direct patient care and support to clinicians. Previous experience includes a Summer Research Internship at the National Institutes of Health, focusing on spinal cord-related research under Dr. Ariel Levine, aiming to develop new viral tools for genetic control of cells in the mammalian spinal cord. Eniola is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree at the University of Pittsburgh.
