Eric Mercer has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. ERIC is currently serving as the Vice President of Portfolio Management Office at HealthVerity, where they have built and leads the enterprise PMO responsible for project governance and global team management. Prior to this, Eric worked as the AVP of Project Management at Odessa, where they provided senior leadership in strategic planning and global digital transformation projects. ERIC also practiced project governance and developed a scalable framework for SaaS implementations. Before joining Odessa, Eric worked as a Principle Consultant at Common Ground Estates.

Eric has a strong background in program and project management. ERIC served as the Senior Director of Program Management at Vertex, Inc., where they provided senior leadership to enterprise strategy development and implementation. Eric also led the implementation of the Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence and directed operational excellence and commercial transformation programs. ERIC also held the position of Director of Project Management Office (PMO) at Vertex, where they designed, implemented, and led the enterprise PMO supporting the entire project portfolio.

Earlier in their career, Eric worked as the Director of Commercial Software Development at Vertex, where they implemented and led the commercial product PMO and delivered industry-leading software products. ERIC also worked as a Program Manager at CGU Insurance, where they directed the integration, transformation, and operation of commercial insurance legacy systems. Additionally, Eric served as the Department Manager at General Accident Insurance Company (Ja.) Limited, where they led the company's technical architecture transformation program and managed the department supporting the next-generation application architecture.

Eric Mercer holds a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Ursinus College. ERIC also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Drexel University. Besides their formal education, Eric has obtained several certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, the SAFe Agilist Certification from the Scaled Agile Framework Certification Training, and the Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) certification from Villanova University.
