Susan Jansson's work experience includes a role as CEO at HealthSPORT, where they led the expansion of a fitness facility. Susan also owned and operated Snap Fitness in Southern Oregon, a 24/7 accessible fitness facility. In addition, they served as the Financial Committee Co-Chair at Rotary International and was a student at AJI Network, a network of business professionals. Prior to that, they worked as a Medical Technologist at Valley Medical Center.

Susan Jansson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology at California State University, Fresno from 1970 to 1974. Susan then pursued a Teaching Credential at the University of California, Davis from 1976 to 1978, specializing in Biology, Microbiology, Physical Education, and Chemistry. From 2002 to 2009, they attended Aji Network, where they studied Business Development and Planning. In addition to their academic qualifications, Susan Jansson holds certifications as an ACE certified and CrossFit certified professional, and they are also a member of IHRSA (International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association).
