Catherine Hannan MD, FACS is a highly experienced board-certified plastic surgeon currently serving at Washington Women Plastic Surgery since November 2017 and as Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Veteran's Medical Center Washington DC since December 2011. Catherine specializes in breast reconstruction, wound care, lower extremity reconstruction, skin cancer reconstruction, and tissue flap reconstruction. Additionally, Catherine contributes as a medical reviewer for Healthline Media since February 2017 and has expertise in aesthetic surgery and injectables aimed at enhancing patient confidence. Catherine completed a Doctor of Medicine degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Yale University.
