Brad Bacon has extensive work experience in the digital media industry. Brad started their career as a Webmaster at The Board of Regents, University System of Georgia, where they designed and created the organization's first website. Brad also worked closely with schools to establish their web presence and collaborated on the GALILEO project.
In 1998, Bacon joined The Weather Channel, where they held various roles. Brad started as a Manager of QA and Release Management, where they established QA procedures and grew the team to meet business needs. Brad then served as Director of the Project Management Office, overseeing product portfolio management and executive prioritization. Later, they became the Director of Partnerships and New Revenue, responsible for driving marketing initiatives and generating new revenue through strategic partnerships. Brad eventually became the Director and GM of Consumer Apps, overseeing product strategy, user experience, and revenue generation on multiple platforms.
In 2012, Bacon joined Turner Sports as the Senior Director of Product Management for NBA Digital. Brad led a team responsible for product management of all NBA Digital products, including mobile apps, tablet apps, mobile web, and social platforms. Brad spearheaded efforts for ad-supported Game Time apps, Game Time Plus, and League Pass subscription products.
In 2013, Bacon joined Healthgrades as the VP of Ad Product and Technology, where they are currently employed. The role entails leading the development and management of advertising products and technology.
Brad Bacon attended Georgia Southern University from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Brad then pursued further education at the same university from 1992 to 1994, completing a Master of Arts degree in English.
