Karen Marshall has diverse work experience in various industries. Karen currently holds the position of Director of Product Marketing at HealthEquity. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Commonwealth Health Advisors, where they provided advisory services and operational expertise to healthcare technology and services businesses. In 2009, Karen founded Cogent Strategy LLC, a management consultancy specializing in healthcare technology companies. Karen also served as EVP of Business Development, Marketing, and Communications at Marathon Health, leading teams in building partnerships with employers and promoting healthcare services. Earlier in their career, Karen held leadership roles at LPA Design, VTel Data Networks, and Securshred, contributing to the growth and stability of these companies. Karen also worked in the telecommunications industry as the Chief of Connect VT/Shumlin Administration for the State of Vermont and Vice President/General Manager for Comcast Spotlight. Karen's experience in various industries, including healthcare, telecommunications, and media, showcases their expertise in strategy, marketing, and leadership.

Karen Marshall received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Vermont in 1984. In addition, they attended the University of Notre Dame from 1980 to 1982. In 2014, they obtained a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Vermont. Karen also holds a certification in Leading for Creativity from IDEO U, which was obtained in 2017.
