John Nielsen, RD, is a registered dietitian with extensive experience in various roles related to nutrition and dietetics. Currently employed at DiningRD since August 2022, John previously worked at Healthcare Services Group, Inc., and served as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional at DD Homes Network. John completed multiple dietetic internships, including assignments at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where clinical and food service management skills were honed. Key achievements include the development of nutrition programs and competency assessments, nutritional evaluations of school menus, and individual nutrition recommendations for athletes. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from Iowa State University and an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration from Des Moines Area Community College.
