Kathy Kuhmerker is an experienced leader in healthcare and budget management with a robust background in Medicaid policy. Currently serving as Treasurer and Board Member at Kent Attainable Housing and Board Member at Health Services For Children With Special Needs, Kathy also leads Kuhmerker Consulting Group as President. Previous roles include Vice President for Medicaid Policy at the Association for Community Affiliated Plans and positions at The Lewin Group and ACS, where duties included Vice President roles in various sectors. Notably, Kathy served as Medicaid Director and Deputy Commissioner at the NYS Department of Health and Assistant Chief Budget Examiner at the NYS Division of the Budget. Kathy holds an MBA in Health Systems from Union College and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Political Science from Binghamton University.
