Kane Tse has a diverse work experience in the field of bioinformatics. Kane started their career as a Junior Bioinformatics Programmer at Saccharomyces Genome Database in 2000 and worked there until 2001. Kane then joined InterOmex Biopharmaceuticals Inc. as a Bioinformatics Research Associate from 2002 to 2003. In 2004, Kane joined BC Cancer, where they held multiple roles over the years, including Programmer/Analyst, Computational Biologist, and Assistant Bioinformatics Coordinator. Kane worked at BC Cancer until 2021. Currently, Kane serves as the President of Health Sciences Association of BC - the union delivering modern health care.
Kane Tse attended Western Canada High School from 1990 to 1994 and obtained a High School Diploma. Kane then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Biochemistry at the University of Calgary from 1994 to 2002.
