Esther Bron is an accomplished assistant professor at Erasmus MC, specializing in imaging and AI within the neurology domain, with expertise in developing novel quantitative imaging biomarkers, diagnostic models, clinical translation of AI, and large-scale validation studies. Esther has a robust background as a postdoctoral researcher on projects such as the CVON Heart-Brain Connection and EuroPOND, and has contributed significantly to the field through a PhD thesis focused on advanced MRI analysis for dementia diagnosis. In addition to current responsibilities as an imaging data coordinator for Health-RI, Esther's research experience includes a visiting researcher role at University College London and internships at Erasmus MC, VU University Medical Center, and Beatrixziekenhuis. Esther holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Medical Natural Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
