Ana Igea, PhD, currently serves as a project manager at the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria de Santiago de Compostela since December 2020 and is an associate professor at Universidade de Vigo since September 2019. Additionally, Ana is an associate editor for Frontiers since August 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a research associate at CINBIO from June 2017 to December 2020 and at IRB Barcelona from April 2010 to June 2017, along with a postdoctoral researcher position at the Center for Genomic Regulation from 2004 to 2010. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, a degree in Biology from the same institution, and a degree in Business and Management Administration from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
