Tadesse Kassaye has a breadth of experience in the field of international development. Tadesse began their career with Child Fund, Ethiopia in 2003 as an Acting Program Manager. Afterward, they joined Care USA in Ethiopia in 2004 as an HIV Program Coordinator. In 2014, Tadesse moved to Health Poverty Action, where they held the position of Area Program Manager, Horn of Africa. In this role, they were responsible for managing programs in Ethiopia, Somaliland, Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, and Namibia. Tadesse's expertise and dedication led to their promotion to Head of Africa Programmes in 2015. Tadesse continues to excel in their role, developing new programs and fostering partnerships with other agencies.
Tadesse Kassaye completed their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Research Methodologies from ULB, Brussels in 2001-2002. Prior to that, they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in General Practice, Physician from Jimma University. Furthermore, Tadesse Kassaye attended Université libre de Bruxelles to complete their High School education, although specific dates were not provided.
