Dr. Melinda Kidder DHA, MSN, RN, CENP currently serves as the Chief Nursing Officer at the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT within the Assistant Secretary for Technology Policy, a position held since December 2023. Previously, leadership roles included Nursing Consultant for Omnicell, Division Vice President of Nursing Informatics at HCA Healthcare, and various positions in clinical informatics and nursing management at McLeod Health, Community Health Systems, and Camden Clark Medical Center. Dr. Kidder's extensive education includes a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration from Walden University, multiple nursing degrees, and specialized training in nursing informatics. Expertise spans clinical technology project management, workflow informatics, and quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care outcomes.
