McClain B. serves as the Vice President of Policy and Impact at the Health Forward Foundation, overseeing advocacy and grantmaking initiatives focused on advancing race equity and health equity in the Kansas City region. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Policy and Strategic Initiatives at Health Forward, Director of Policy and Research for the Civic Council of Greater Kansas City, and Director of Policy in the Office of the Mayor, where significant work in economic development and equity was conducted. McClain B. also held trustee responsibilities at Metropolitan Community College and has experience in governmental oversight as a Commissioner for Kansas City Parks and Recreation. A legal background includes practicing public policy and government affairs at Husch Blackwell and serving as an attorney after earning a JD from The George Washington University Law School, complemented by an MBA and a BA from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
