Sheik Abdul Abubakkar is an experienced data engineering professional with a robust background in developing scalable data-driven systems and machine learning solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer/Manager at Healthfirst since February 2022, Sheik has been instrumental in building event-driven architectures and data pipelines in the cloud. Previous roles at Jvion and Iowa Primary Care Association emphasized designing data systems to enhance machine learning efficiency and conducting in-depth data analyses to inform healthcare cost reduction measures. Additional experience includes business intelligence analytics at Rackspace, consulting at Capgemini India, and software engineering at HCL Technologies, complemented by a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Instrumentation.
