Katie Kenney has comprehensive experience in strategic communications and government relations within the health sector. Since January 2012, Katie has held multiple leadership roles at Health Canada, including Executive Director and Director of Strategic Communications. Prior to this, Katie served in various capacities at Health Canada from January 2008 to August 2010, including positions in Recruitment and Special Projects. Katie's earlier experience includes a role in Government Relations at the Ontario Medical Association from January 2004 to August 2006. Educationally, Katie holds a Bachelor of Journalism with a focus in Journalism and Political Science from Carleton University, earned between 1998 and 2002.
