Lori Harris is an accomplished health risk coding specialist with extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Currently serving as the Lead Health Risk Coding & Education Specialist at Health Alliance Plan since May 2016, Lori has also held the position of Risk Adjustment Medical Coder/Abstractor Analyst II. Prior to this role, Lori worked as a Coding Analyst at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan from October 2010 to May 2016, specializing in Medicare Advantage medical record reviews. Earlier experience includes roles as an Inpatient Coder at PHNS and as a Medical Records Technician at Select Specialty Hospital. Lori holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Information/Medical Records Administration from the University of Cincinnati and an Associate of Science in Health Information/Medical Records Technology from Schoolcraft College.
