Halston Prox has had a varied career in the medical field, beginning in 2010 as an Emergency Medical Technician at Halo Medical Service. In 2012, they were an Emergency Medical Technician at MedSynergies, and an Epic Application Coordinator - Ambulatory and Epic Optimization Specialist - Ambulatory & HODs at Baylor Scott & White Health. In 2013, they worked as an Epic Consultant at Impact Advisors, where they coordinated with executive leadership to strategize complex projects, and implementation timetables, and drove the implementation team to improve enterprise workflows, while building new Epic functionality and implementing new workflows. In 2016, they were a Fellow at the Startup Leadership Program, and in 2017 they became the Co-Founder & CEO of HealNow.

Halston Prox obtained a BS in Health and Kinesiology with a field of study in Pre-Medicine from The University of Texas at Austin between 2007 and 2011. In June 2012, Halston Prox obtained a certification in EpicCare Ambulatory from Epic.
