Cathy McJannet MN, RN, CEN, HTCP/I is a highly experienced nursing professional with a diverse career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Lead Volunteer for Integrative Care & Clinical Volunteers at Sharp Coronado Hospital since May 2022, Cathy also works as a Nurse Educator at Kaplan since September 2017. In addition, Cathy has held roles with the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing as a Program Evaluator and Board of Commissioners & Peer Evaluator since February 2010, and has been a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner & Instructor with the Healing Touch Program since January 2005. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Sharp HealthCare from September 1990 to April 2022, where Cathy worked as an ED Staff Nurse, Educator, and Instructor. Additionally, Cathy served as Director of Nursing & Health Occupations Programs at Southwestern Community College District from 1997 to June 2019. Educational credentials include a Master's in Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Ottawa, and a nursing diploma from The Moncton Hospital School of Nursing.
