Father Darren is the Vicar of St Andrew’s Headington, the School’s parish church. He was raised and educated in Northern Ireland and read English at the Queen’s University of Belfast, before reading Theology at Trinity College, Dublin and training for the ordained ministry of the Church of Ireland. He has served in parishes in the Republic of Ireland and Scotland, moving to his current parish in July 2011.
For the past five years Fr Darren has been one of the three Foundation Governors at St Andrew’s Church of England Primary School in Headington and was elected as Chair of Governors in July 2016. In the Diocese of Oxford he serves as a member of Diocesan Synod, of the Bishop’s Council, the Diocesan Board of Education and is Chair of the Diocesan Liturgy Committee.
He is also the Assistant Chaplain at Keble College. Fr Darren became a Governor of Headington School in 2016.
