Maxime Turko is an experienced hydro-meteorologist currently working at HD Rain since June 2021. Previous roles include a doctoral researcher at CNES from October 2016 to September 2020, focusing on the potential contributions of commercial microwave rain measurements for urban hydrology in Africa. Maxime has also worked as a study engineer at Irstea, improving snow modeling in alpine watersheds, and at IRD, researching climate change impacts on water resources in Bolivia. Other notable experiences include volunteering at UNESCO, interning at various organizations for hydrological modeling, and contributing to data validation efforts. Maxime holds a Doctorate in Hydro-meteorology from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III and multiple degrees from Sorbonne Université in related fields of hydrology and earth sciences.
