Michael Zeck has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Michael started their career as a Legal Counsel at McDonald's Deutschland Inc. in 1999 before moving on to Sky Deutschland GmbH (formerly PREMIERE) in 2001, where they held the role of Legal Counsel until 2007. In 2007, they joined HD PLUS GmbH as General Counsel & Data Protection Officer HD+ and General Counsel Media Solutions, a position they still hold. From 2007 to 2016, they also served as General Counsel and Head of Legal Department at HD PLUS GmbH, MX1 GmbH, and ASTRA Deutschland GmbH. In 2019, they became the Geschäftsführer at SES Networks GmbH.

Michael Zeck attended the University of Bayreuth from 1991 to 1996. Michael obtained a degree, but the specific field of study is unknown. In 2017 and 2018, they attended the University of Augsburg to become a Compliance Officer. Most recently, in 2019, they completed a program at GDD | Gesellschaft für Datenschutz und Datensicherheit e.V. to become a Betrieblicher Datenschutzbeauftragter GDDcert.EU, though the field of study is unspecified.
