Samantha Brown has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry, starting as a Staff Nurse at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in 2007. Samantha then progressed to become an Advanced Practice Clinician at CHI St. Luke's Health before transitioning to a Nurse Manager role at Houston Methodist in 2017. Most recently, they served as the Director (RN) of Cardiovascular Services at HCA Houston Healthcare from 2022 onwards. Throughout their career, they have taken on leadership roles and demonstrated expertise in various clinical settings.

Samantha Brown holds a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from McNeese State University (2000-2004). Samantha then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing-Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist from Texas Woman's University (2009-2012). In 2016, they obtained a Master Certificate in Health Informatics from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). Samantha also holds certifications as a Nurse Executive and Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist.
