Kristin Lange Thompson BS MT(ASCP) has extensive work experience in laboratory services, with a strong focus on management roles. Kristin Lange has served as Director of Laboratory Services at HCA Houston Healthcare, Laboratory Manager at Houston Methodist, and Laboratory Manager at CHI St. Luke's Health. Additionally, they have taken on leadership positions at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital, and Doctor's Hospital. Throughout their career, Kristin has demonstrated expertise in overseeing daily operations, managing personnel, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing new processes to enhance laboratory efficiency and quality of patient care.

Kristin Lange Thompson BS MT(ASCP) obtained their Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Columbus State University in 1996. Prior to that, they studied Zoology/Animal Biology at Arizona State University from 1982 to 1985. Kristin Lange'seducation journey began at Texas A&M University in 1979, where they initially pursued Biomedical/Medical Engineering before transferring to ASU. Kristin Lange completed their high school education at Spring Branch High School in 1979, focusing on Math/Science. Most recently, Kristin is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, with an expected completion year in 2023. Additionally, in 1996, they obtained certification as a Medical Technologist from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
