Samir Bhandari is the Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer of hBits, a leading fractional ownership platform in real estate, since June 2022. Prior to this, Samir held significant positions in major financial institutions, including managing director at Nomura from September 2008 to December 2021, where Samir co-chaired the Global Markets Sales Executive Committee and led Global Markets Sales for Asia ex-Japan. Samir also served as managing director at J.P. Morgan from 1999 to 2008, overseeing South and South East Asia Sales, and as executive director at UBS from 1996 to 1999, focusing on derivative sales in the same regions. Earlier roles include assistant vice president at Bank of America from 1989 to 1996, specializing in financial engineering and risk management. Samir's educational background includes an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, a Chartered Accountant designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics.
