Lluvia Almanza is an experienced podcast host currently working with Books vs. Movies since February 2024 and serves as an associate registration manager at HB Studio since May 2021. Lluvia has a background in acting, with experience dating back to May 2005, and possesses basic video editing skills. Previous roles include audition monitor at Actors' Equity Association from December 2017 to January 2022, guest experience associate at Petco in late 2017, and administrative assistant at El Paso Language Services where responsibilities included legal document translation and social media promotions. Lluvia also worked as a Sellebrity Coach at Gap Inc./Old Navy from November 2012 to January 2017 and as event staff for Destination El Paso. Lluvia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Theatre/Theater and Theatre Performance from The University of Texas at El Paso, completed in 2013.
