Roy Hawkins, Jr. is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in education and the arts. Currently serving as Gallery Manager at RH Studio & Gallery since January 2017, Roy oversees a contemporary art space dedicated to emerging artists and facilitates private art classes and commissioned works. In addition to this role, Roy has been a teacher with Haywood County Schools since September 2014, bringing a wealth of experience in art education. Roy's academic credentials include a Master of Arts in School Librarian/School Library Media Specialist and a Master's Degree in Art Teacher Education from the University of Memphis, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual and Performing Arts from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Previous experience includes managing the reserve room at the University of Memphis from September 2002 to July 2012.
