Portia Moore has held a variety of roles in the past, beginning in 2006 with a Carryout Attendant position at Bob Evans. In 2012, they moved on to become a Senior Part Time Assistant Manager at The Body Shop, where they were responsible for running a team of ladies dedicated to healthy living. In 2013, they took on the role of Optometric Technician and Social Media Specialist at Jones Vision Polaris. In 2014, they started their own business, Portia's Photography, as the Owner and Lead Photographer. Finally, in 2017, they joined Hayward Distributing Co. as both an Ecommerce Manager and Marketing Coordinator, Office Manager, and Administrative Assistant.

Portia Moore attended The Ohio State University from 2006 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication. From 2009 to 2010, they attended the University of Sydney, where they earned a BA in Communication with a focus in Communication and photography.
