David Ammons is a Partner at Haynes and Boone, LLP with extensive experience in defending publicly traded exploration and production companies in litigation related to alleged royalty underpayments. Prior to their current position, David worked as a Shareholder at Winstead PC and a Partner at Diamond McCarthy LLP, where David handled similar cases with success. David also has experience as a Briefing Attorney at the First District Court of Appeals of Texas. David holds a JD from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in History from The University of Texas at Austin.
