Rajiv Fernando has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Rajiv began their career at A.P. Moller - Maersk in 2010 as a Senior Sales Account Executive, where they focused on ensuring smooth execution of shipment lifecycles and achieving customer satisfaction goals. In 2014, Rajiv joined Colombo Logistics World (Pvt) Ltd as a Key Account Manager. Here, they managed key accounts and played a crucial role in maintaining customer relationships. In 2016, Rajiv joined Hayleys Advantis Limited as a Sales Manager, responsible for driving sales. Rajiv later transitioned to the role of Head of Customer Care, where they led customer service efforts. Currently, Rajiv serves as the Head of Commercial at Advantis Free Zone in Hayleys Advantis Limited.
Rajiv Fernando's education history begins in 1991 at Royal College Colombo, where they completed their primary and secondary education. In 2006 and 2007, they attended the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing-SLIM and obtained a Primary Certificate in Marketing and a Certificate Level in Business Administration and Management. In 2012, they attended London Business School - Sri Lanka and obtained a High School Diploma in Project Management. Subsequently, in 2016 and 2017, Rajiv pursued further education at the Australian Institute of Business, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Finally, in 2021 and 2022, they attended Asia e University and achieved a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Digital Marketing.
