Chathun Perera has work experience at Hayleys Advantis Limited. They started working at the company in 2017 as an intern for a three-month period. In 2019, they were hired as a Junior Executive (Logistics Specialist) and later promoted to the role of Executive- Innovation, Sustainability, and Compliance. Their current position does not have a specified end date.

Chathun Perera began their education in 2016 at the University of Plymouth, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Operation and Logistics Management. Chathun successfully completed their studies in 2019, specializing in logistics, materials, and supply chain management. In 2020, Chathun enrolled in a Lean Six Sigma- White Belt Program at Hayleys advantis limited, further expanding their knowledge in the field of lean methodology. Concurrently, they also started pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Colombo, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
