Carla Mejia is a seasoned camera operator and director of photography with extensive experience in the broadcasting industry. Currently employed as a camera operator at CNN and A+E Networks since May 2023 and September 2021 respectively, Carla also serves as the director of photography at Bloomberg Quicktake since September 2022. Additional roles include freelance camera operator for Pfizer and technical director/camera operator at Hayden5. Carla has a solid background, having worked at Diamond Grade Media as a camera operator/editor since July 2017, and has contributed as an assistant editor at Little Cinema from April 2021 to February 2022. Previous experience includes freelance positions with HBO, iHeartRadio, and CBS Corporation during high-profile events such as the 72nd Tony Awards. Carla holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from The City College of New York.
