Jesper Brøndum Petersen is the Chief Sales Officer at HAY, a position they have held since April 2019. Prior to joining HAY, Jesper was the CEO of Varier Furniture from March 2008 to April 2019.

Jesper has over 25 years of experience in sales and export management, with a focus on furniture manufacturing. Jesper began their career as an Account Manager at Jyske Bank in 1992, before moving into export management with Kvist Industries in 1996. In 1998, they joined Fredericia Furniture A/S as their Area Export Manager, a role they held for three years until 2001. Jesper then spent seven years as Country Manager at FRITZ HANSEN from 2001 to 2008.

In 2008, Jesper became the CEO of Varier Furniture and led the company through a turnaround, transforming it from a classic furniture manufacturer into an international modern design brand within five years. During this time, they launched a new communication platform and re-enforced the sales management team, implemented a new ERP system, expanded the management group, and built a fantastic team - all according to strategic guidelines. Thanks to Jesper's leadership, Varier turned around and began creating growth.

In addition to leading the organization, Jesper's main task is working with international designers and creative spirits to develop the furniture brand of tomorrow.

Jesper Brøndum Petersen has an Executive Coach certification from the Copenhagen Coaching Institute, a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade from the Danish Export Institute, and a Bankernes Finansuddannelse certification from Jyske Bank.
